Your Essential Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons to create and implement customized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by prepping operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and facilitating instrument hand-offs during surgeries
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
