Your day will fly by as you track inventory in our software, assemble specialized science kits, pack outbound orders, and operate forklifts to transport heavy materials across the warehouse. To keep our production lines moving seamlessly, you will need a sharp eye for detail, basic computer skills, the physical stamina to lift 50 pounds, and prior experience safely operating warehouse equipment.

salary: $18 - $18.5 per hour

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Workflow: Serve as the vital link between the stockroom, manufacturing, and shipping departments to maintain a seamless daily flow of inventory.

• Process Incoming Shipments: Receive, accurately count, and log all incoming material shipments upon arrival.

• Maintain Inventory Data: Continuously update and manage inventory software records to ensure strict stock accuracy.

• Assemble Specialized Kits: Build and assemble specialized science and laboratory equipment kits directly for customer orders.

• Transport Materials: Safely move parts, completed assemblies, and raw stock between various work areas and the main warehouse to keep production lines fully supplied.

• Fulfill Customer Orders: Pull necessary items from stock, carefully pack boxes, and properly stage products for their final outbound shipping.

• Prevent Production Delays: Proactively track down missing parts or shortages on the plant floor to ensure the assembly line experiences no downtime.

• Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely handle and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and skids, to transport heavy stock.

The essential functions of this role include:
