About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Solderer• Pay Rate Range: $24.00-$28.00/hr• Location: Medina, MN• Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:• Previous soldering experience in a manufacturing setting required; through-hole and/or surface mount experience is a plus.• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.• Basic understanding of electronic components and wiring.• Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Client will test soldering skills before the candidate starts.• Required top lifting and carrying 25lbs.• Required to Sit most of the day.Duties and Responsibilities:• Solder electronic components, wires, connectors, and circuit boards according to specifications.• Assemble electrical and mechanical components used in industrial scale systems.• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions.• Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality.• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled components.• Maintain a clean and organized work area.• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.• Report material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervisors.• Assist with other production and assembly tasks as needed.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
