Catholic Health Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice, members of Catholic Health, provide Home Care and Hospice care to more than 3,000 patients daily in their residences through our acute care agency daily. For more than 100 years, our registered nurses, licensed therapists and home health aides have provided high-quality services for patients across Long Island and Queens.

Our Clinical Informatics Educator is responsible for the development, implementation, optimization, and support of the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for Home Care and Hospice. This role provides EPIC orientation, training, and ongoing support to clinical staff, evaluates system functionality and workflows, recommends improvements, and serves as a frontline resource for end-user support. The Clinical Informatics Educator collaborates with clinical, operational, and IT teams to enhance documentation practices, improve user adoption, and support quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current clinical license and registration in NYS as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physical Therapist (PT).
• Ability to interpret statistical data, conduct in-service training, and educate large groups of people.
• Advanced proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. EPIC experience preferred.
• Masters in Clinical Informatics preferred.

Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
