Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Shift: 3x12-hour nights Weekend coverage required

Requirements:

• 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• State or Compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience with tele/medical-surgical settings
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Capability to manage cardiac drips (no titration)
• Non-invasive airway management skills
• Peripheral line care/management
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients with various diagnoses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Compliance / Notes:

• Pre-approved time off: 1 day must be listed at submittal
• Orientation: 12 hours, including 4-6 hours of RN modules onsite (non-billable)
• Vaccine status: COVID-19 and flu vaccines unknown
