Estimator/Project Manager - Concrete

The Concrete Estimator/Project Manager Position The Concrete Project Estimator/Project Manager works directly with the Division Manager and leads the project team from conception to completion by preparing cost estimates, handling quantity take-offs and submitting proposals. Upon successful bid, the Estimator/Project Manager handles operations duties including project budgets, scheduling, and procurement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player who can work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams. Collaboration with staff is key to ensuring projects are bid accurately and completed according to specifications. The Concrete Estimator/Project Manager position offers the opportunity to be both hands-on and collaborative in the implementation of new processes, while living up to Merlo’s Value Statement of “What got us here, won’t get us there!” Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Concrete Estimator/Project Manager Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field A minimum of 2 years of Construction Estimating or Operations experience is required Specialty subcontractor construction experience is preferred Strong desire to actively contribute to a continuous improvement environment Compensation, Benefit & Structure for the Concrete Estimator/Project Manager This full-time position offers a competitive base salary and benefits package, including bonus opportunities, health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, professional development opportunities, and a team-based worked environment.
