Distribution Center Operations Manager

Position Overview Distribution Center Operations Manager at American Tire Distributors oversees daily transportation and warehouse operations. Oversees shifts, managing warehouse associates and drivers, ensuring safety, compliance, quality and delivery goals while coaching staff. Salary: $58,960/YR - $90,000/YR. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and manage day‑to‑day activities for warehouse and delivery associates across shifts. Onboard and train team members; coach, motivate, and manage performance. Investigate employee relations or performance concerns, implement disciplinary action as needed in consultation with HR. Select, recruit, train and mentor employees for development. Lead daily huddles to communicate tasks, expectations, deliverables, and build engagement. Support the DC General Manager. Adhere to ATD’s quality standards, health and safety, legal compliance, environmental policies, SOP deliverables, and general duty care. Qualifications High School or GED degree. 5 years of related experience, including 2‑3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds; handling tires can exceed 50 pounds. Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Exposed to weather conditions; moderate noise level. Travel required: 5% of the time.
