Description

American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Technologist with ARRT certification and prior EP experience for a 13-week assignment using Epic charting.

Details

• Electrophysiology Lab setting
• All shifts including a combination of day/evening rotations, with start times ranging between 7AM-11AM and shift times varying
• Uses Epic for charting
• Duties include prepping rooms and patients using sterile technique, preparing and calibrating specialized equipment, reading EKGs, and monitoring patients' electrical heart activity during procedures

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Prior Electrophysiology experience required
• License required if applicable
• Active MA license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient and room preparation, sterile technique, equipment calibration, EKG interpretation, and cardiac monitoring during procedures
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
