Order Picker / Material Handler
Location: Oxford, AL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Type: Temporary Project (Through the End of September)
HireQuest Direct is currently hiring dependable and hardworking Order Pickers / Material Handlers for a temporary warehouse project in Oxford, Alabama . This assignment is expected to run through the end of September and is a great opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Start time: 8:00 AM
- End time: When the day's work is complete (typically between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM , depending on workload)
Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately
- Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload products as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds continuously
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating a pallet jack and/or forklift is a plus
Qualifications
- Clean background check required
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
