Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele, travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. Start date 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift 3x12 Nights. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including monitoring and assessing clinical status.
- Interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol and orders.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, document responses, and ensure safe medication administration.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, and participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Document in the electronic health record, ensure accurate charting of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and follow-up care; facilitate safe transitions of care.

Requirements
- Active nursing license in Massachusetts (RN)
- Nursing degree (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate)
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and/or Telemetry experience; telemetry experience required
- Ability to work in a hospital-based Med-Surg/Telemetry/ICU-capable unit
- Availability for 3x12 night shifts; 4x12 options may be available per unit
- Must be outside of a 90-mile radius from the facility
