Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)Torch Technologies is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering is a rapidly growing discipline within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community, enabling more efficient, data-driven approaches to complex system development and analysis.Job Responsibilities:Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools where applicable.Provide technical support and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle.Job Qualifications:US Citizenship.Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.6-10+ years of experience in systems engineering.Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation).Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with SysML modeling, tools, and techniques.Experience with AFSIM is a plus.Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.Schedule: M-F; 8-5Work Location: Customer-siteTravel: Yes, 0-10%Relocation Assistance Available: No#LI-TS1Benefits:Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match and safe-harbor contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.Applying to Torch Technologies:Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
