Certified Medical Assistant at West Coast Wound West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field, administering ultrasound therapy to patients in their homes. Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States - Full Time Skills: Ultrasound Therapy, Materials Management, Medical Scribing, Chart Checks, Patient Care, Customer Service, Medical Terminology, Clinical Management, Patient Assessment, Scheduling. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound therapy on wound patients. Order medical supplies. Scribe for doctors. Prepare patients for procedures. Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients. Coordinate skin sweep scheduling. Scribe for skin sweeps. Make initial assessment calls. Qualifications Valid MA Certification. 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred. Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong awareness of medical terminology. Strong desire for patient care. Compensation Guaranteed base pay of $810 per week, calculated at $27 per patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day, plus $27 per additional patient visit beyond the daily base.
