Must have availability to work between the business hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm, and Saturday, 9am-3pm EST.Primary Responsibilities:Support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications including compounding and labelingDeliver excellent customer service during medication pick-up, payment processing, and counseling offersManage inventory, receive and inspect shipments, price and store medications, and restock clinical areasAdminister vaccines, report safety events, and contribute to quality improvement and departmental initiativesCollaborate effectively with the pharmacy team, uphold compliance with regulations, and maintain required certificationsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDActive and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Massachusetts or willing and able to obtain within 90 days of employment1+ years of retail pharmacy experienceAccess to reliable transportationPreferred Qualification:Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB, CPhT, or NHAAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialtyAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)Certified in Immunization Administration by an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ('ACPE') accredited training program or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy settingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
