Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description: Summary of Position The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the quality assurance program and its' initiatives under the guidance of the Quality Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing and quality assurance environment using the criteria listed above physical requirements Office - will be required to sit at desk using computer, standing and walking for 8 or more hours each day
Manufacturing - will be required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach in various capacities throughout the day
Will be required to lift 0-10 pounds regularly, up to 20 pounds occasionally, and up to 30 pounds infrequently Career path Opportunities

- Assist in the development and sustained maintenance of procedures and work instructions within Quality Management System
- Assist the Quality Manager with internal and external audits
- Lead and facilitate RCCA analysis (Root Cause Corrective Action) for all internal and external matters
- Perform measurement tool calibrations and maintain recall system per QMS requirements
- Provides technical guidance to support company's quality objectives
- Prepares documents and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Must have experience with ISO9001
- Must be familiar with the methodology of Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other related engineering requirements
- Possess strong working knowledge of measurement tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators
- Strong communication and organizational skills are a must
- Must have strong working knowledge of QMS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
