Locum: Anesthesiology Locum in Central Indiana

Target Start Date: 3/18/2022

Target End Date: 3/31/2025

Collaborating with several established facilities in central Indiana, seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide traveling coverage.

Here are the details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p at surgery centers, 7a-5p at hospitals
• No call shifts or weekends required (optional call if desired)
• EMR: Cerner
• Bread and butter cases
• Handle own cases - mostly OP
• No OB, trauma, or spine cases
• CRNA ratio - 3/4:1
• Paid travel and expenses

QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Indiana Anesthesiologist state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as an Anesthesiologist
• One year of Epic experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
