What You'll Do

Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas with professionalism and care
• Take and record vital signs, height/weight, allergies, and medication updates
• Prepare patients for visits and ensure all necessary records are ready for the physician
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures (documenting notes as needed)
• Maintain clean, stocked, and fully prepared exam/treatment rooms
• Follow strict sanitation and disinfection protocols to ensure patient safety

Administrative & Office Support

• Answer patient calls and route inquiries appropriately
• Communicate patient needs to physicians, nurses, or pharmacists
• Call in prescriptions and assist with patient follow-ups as directed
• Track and report appointment reschedules and no-shows
• Support day-to-day office operations including filing, faxing, chart prep, and reception duties

• Previous Medical Assistant or healthcare experience preferred

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
