Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer in Lancaster, OH . As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Sun 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly and document relevant details, communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, verifying access permissions and reporting concerns related to restricted areas or operational disruptions. Support daily site operations by observing equipment and material storage areas, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Undergo a drug screen as permitted by law. Meet licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
