Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, New Hampshire . The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all professional and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute care settings preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
