Physician Assistant Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health has an opening for a Physician Assistant to join our Urology Team in College Station, Texas. We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/ training history. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated healthcare system.

Essential functions of the role include assessing the physical and mental condition of patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatments, counseling patients, maintaining records, and managing patient care in various settings.

Key success factors include knowledge of medical diagnosis and treatment, communication skills, critical thinking, and proficiency in computer applications.

Schedule includes day shifts with varying hours based on surgery schedule, inpatient/outpatient duties, clinic and hospital rounding, and the potential to first assist.
