What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient infectious disease consultation and management at Stafford Hospital
• Serve as the primary care provider for hospitalized patients with infectious diseases
• Take call for new inpatient consults after hours
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation within hospital EMR systems
• Adhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient safety and high-quality care

What You Need

• Valid Virginia medical license or the ability to obtain one
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
• Minimum 2+ years of inpatient infectious disease experience
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and handle inpatient consults efficiently

Preferred

• Experience working in hospital settings within Virginia
• Ability to manage complex infectious cases
• Flexibility for on-call responsibilities
