Manufacturing Process Technician

A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality, and (ii) Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide standard customer service functions while managing inbound and outbound product flow for customer accounts. Work independently and collaboratively to meet operational goals and support continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all warehouse tasks in compliance with standard work procedures and company policiesManage inbound and outbound product flow for assigned customer accounts, ensuring accuracy andtimelinessEfficiently select, package, and dispatch parts in accordance with customer order specificationsConduct routine cycle counts to support inventory accuracy and maintain optimal stock levelsAssist customers with order pickup and provide delivery support to customer locationsConduct basic to advanced modifications to customer products per specified requirementsOversee outbound shipment processes and ensure proper documentation and handlingRespond to incoming telephone inquiries and perform administrative duties as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment by following all safety protocols and companystandardsTrain team members on warehouse tasks using visual aids and standard proceduresIdentify process deviations and report them to supervisors for immediate resolution.Report damage to company equipment or infrastructure to ensure timely repairs and minimize safetyrisks.Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance warehouse efficiency and service qualityoperations.Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance, and work assigned shifts and schedules, including overtime as required.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professionalpublications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentForklift Certification3+ years experience in a high volume warehouse environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.Experience handling specific customer accounts and coordinating logistics.Excellent communication and customer service skillsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to read and write in EnglishValid driver's licenseWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% as required by business needsPreferred QualificationsYellow Belt CertificationPrior welding/torch experienceFamiliar with warehouse management systemsProficiency in SpanishThe pay range for this position is $22.16 - $34.46/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
