job summary:
Solidworks Designer based near Lenoir City, TN for a leading industrial manufacturing company in the automotive industry. This role is responsible to create 3D Models, Assemblies, and Installations of existing and new items required for production.

responsibilities:

• Create 3D Models, Assemblies, and Installations of existing and new items required for production
  
  
• Responsible for complete modeling and assembly in SolidWorks PDM in accordance with customer and engineering requirements
  
  
• Author Engineering Change Orders as needed for release and modification of CAD and ERP data
  
  
• Conduct Model and Design Reviews to ensure 3D design meets Sales and Engineering Requirements.
  
  
  
• Make modifications and/or integrate new improvements into new designs or existing designs to improve their performance

Required Qualifications:

• Must have three (3+) years of design experience
  
  
• SolidWorks experience
  
  
  
• Experience within an automotive or related manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• SolidWorks Professional Certifications
  
  
  
• Engineering degree
