Project AdministratorSt. Louis, MO (Greater St. Louis metro) | Full-time, direct hire | OnsitePay: $60,000 to $70,000 per yearShift: 1stAbout The OpportunityAn established St. Louis metal fabrication manufacturer is adding a Project Administrator. Working under the general supervision of the Project Manager, you will partner with Project Managers to build comprehensive action plans covering estimates, resources, budgets and timeframes. You will work closely with department personnel, coordinate schedules and risk management, maintain project documentation and handle financial queries.What You Will DoParticipate in project design meetings and document action itemsEvaluate potential problems and technical hitches and help develop solutionsPlan and manage project schedules and new informationCoordinate information distribution to all team members to keep workflow on trackManage project paperwork and databases so all materials are current, updated and properly filed and storedDirect project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emailsCommunicate with internal departments to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectivesAdhere to budget by monitoring expenses and tracking cost-saving measuresWhat You NeedTypically a Bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years of experience (any equivalent combination of education and experience considered)Familiarity with the principles and practices of project managementAbility to read and understand component drawings and tolerance schemesExperience keeping projects on track and managing associated costs to stay on budgetStrong time management and written and verbal communication skillsComputer skills, spreadsheet efficiency and comfort working with numbersNice To HaveGeneral knowledge of metal fabrication or manufacturing productionCAD experienceInterview ProcessOnsite interview with 2 or more hiring managers.
