As our one and only IT Specialist, get ready for some lickety-split wardrobe changes, since you'll be wearing multiple different hats a day! You'll be the face of our IT help desk, our resident technology troubleshooter, and will officially welcome new team members into XYPN's digital world. Not only will you directly impact team member satisfaction (and productivity) through our IT Help Desk, you'll get to assist the IT Manager on a variety of projects that support the growth and vision of XYPN! What you'll be doing:

• Provide real time IT support to team members so they can help people live their great lives!
• Assist the IT Manager in building the infrastructure needed to support the company's growth plans
• Day-to-day support of XYPN's tech stack
• Own the IT Help Desk for the entire company, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering resolutions via our ticketing system
• Show folks what customer service is supposed to look like
• Assist in inventory of hardware and software subscriptions/licenses
• Meet and usher in new team members to XYPN's tech and conduct IT onboarding and offboarding
• Serve as a thought partner to the IT Manager and Technology team
• Adore that XYPN is a new(ish!) company - that's growing fast - and are excited by the chance to build, pivot, question, test, and learn new solutions to the "problems" of IT
• Based in Bozeman; you're equally content working in an office as you are working remotely.

Measurables:

• % of Helpdesk tickets resolved weekly
• % of Helpdesk tickets within SLA metrics weekly
• Keeping on track with annual computer replacement schedule

The Deets:

Start Date: Immediately

Status: Full-time (40 hours per week with flexible schedule)

Location: Bozeman, MT

Overtime Status: Non-exempt (i.e., overtime eligible)

Team: Information Technology

Reports To: IT Manager

Direct reports: None

Travel: Up to 10% travel (e.g., 2-3 weeks /year) required for team retreats and other company events

• Tech-savviness with broad hardware and software knowledge, specifically with but not limited to:
• macOS / Jamf / Iru
• Google Workspace - Primary for email, document sharing, and file store
• Slack
• Okta
• Zoom
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Exemplary customer service skills, as our team members will be your internal customers deserving of top-tier support with a smile
• Unrivaled communication skills with the ability to echo company-wide communications, so everyone is up to speed and on the same page
• Unmatched attention to detail—crossing t's and dotting i's come natural to you
• Ability to multi-task and manage various projects at one time, prioritizing and utilizing time appropriately—in a past life, you may have been a professional juggler
• An unchecked enthusiasm to do what it takes to keep our tech running smoothly
• Desire to be part of a "modern" tech stack. We use the same tools as many popular tech companies. No room for legacy IT here.
• Legally authorized to live and work in the United States without present or future need for sponsorship.

What would make us drool:

• Proven experience as IT Specialist, IT Help Desk Support, System Administrator, or similar role and/or equivalent education coupled with drive
• 2+ years related experience
• Direct customer service (internal or external) experience
• Previous experience supporting software transitions
• You loathe the phrases, " That's not my job " and " that's not how we do things "
• You're equally excited about routine as you are about the unexpected!
• You love bringing projects to life!

Compensation & Benefits:

• $59,000 - $72,800 annually
• All team members at XYPN are owners! We offer a 100%- employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
