That knowledge is key when it comes to prototype development for Directed Energy (DE) systems and capabilities. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to research, analyze, down-select, fabricate, test, and integrate complex electronic and RF subsystems and components to advance our non-kinetic weapon portfolio for our DoD warfighters.At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform DoD and Navy offerings. You Have:5+ years of experience in pulsed power research, development, and test and evaluation of a wide variety of pulsed power systems5+ years of experience with high voltage, high peak power spark gaps, high voltage power supplies, and fast transient diagnostics2+ years of experience in laboratory or field-testing environments, including setting test goals, developing test methodologies, organizing and conducting tests, reducing test data, and analyzing resultsExperience conducting both basic and applied researchExperience with modeling and simulation programs for pulsed power systemsExperience with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)Ability to work in high voltage environments​Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplined teamSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Engineering or ScienceNice If You Have:Experience in combat or weapon system development, design, and integration for the U.S. Navy or other Armed ServicesExperience conducting testing for weapon effectivenessExperience conducting RDT&E activities for DE systemsMaster's degree in Engineering or Science Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
