As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access control, respond to incidents, and help create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Day Time:
Monday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Wednesday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Thursday 10:15 AM - 7:15 PM
Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or other authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and leaving the location.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
