Registered DietitianThe Registered Dietitian is responsible for implementing an individualized nutritional care plan for each patient. This role is also responsible for developing or obtaining patient nutrition education materials. Assesses patients' understanding of and compliance with prescribed diet principlesEnsures continuity of care with patient's physician, nurses and nutrition support teams to provide high quality patient centered careParticipates in Performance Improvement Program and ACHC accreditationIdentifies and promotes nutrition program services to clinical and professional referral base and performs necessary in-service educationSupervisory Responsibility: NoQualificationsBachelor of Science in Nutrition or related fieldRegistered Dietitian with license to practice in assigned state(s); Certified Nutrition Support Clinician preferredMinimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required.Must have strong communication skills and organizational skillsHigh level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and ability to work under pressure**To perform this role will require constant sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching and typing on a keyboard with fingers. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 10-30 lbs**
