The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design. Have hands‑on involvement in the permitting process. Interact significantly with multidisciplinary internal teams and external clients. Key Responsibilities Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements set by the project managers based on client needs. Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets. Interface directly with the client or sub‑consultants under the direction of the Engineering Manager. Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations to clients. Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines and the project team. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration. Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., site plans, permitting, grading, storm water management). Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in the home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any or all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Work Environment / Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments. Typical office/home office environment. Physical demands include sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. May require travel to local and regional client sites.
