We are seeking a BCBA to provide behavioral consultation and support within a Niwot-area school. You’ll work with students and school teams to assess behavioral needs, develop effective strategies, and monitor student progress. Key responsibilities include: Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Creating and supporting behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Reviewing student data and tracking progress Providing behavioral services, evaluations, and consultation Coordinating with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families Supporting case management, documentation, and planning What This Opportunity Offers

Requirements Qualifications and Credentials

The ideal candidate will have: A master’s degree or higher and the required behavior-analytic coursework and supervised experience to qualify for BCBA certification Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Appropriate Colorado Department of Education (CDE) authorization to provide services in a school setting Experience supporting students in educational settings preferred Familiarity with IDEA, Colorado special education requirements, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities Proficiency with technology and electronic recordkeeping Ability to meet district fingerprinting and background clearance requirements Effective communication and teamwork skills when working with students, families, educators, and other service providers Professional judgment, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive information Work Environment and Physical Expectations

This position involves providing support to students throughout the school environment. The BCBA may need to move between classrooms and other school spaces and participate in activities that involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, or lifting as appropriate to assigned responsibilities. All activities should align with student needs, school district guidelines, and the expectations of the role.
