RN (Registered Nurse)

**Holiday RTO will be considered, however not guaranteed** - Unit: ICU - # beds: 16 and can go to 20 beds - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS and CCRN preferred - Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: yes and doesn't carry patients - Nurse Aides: No - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend & would be required to fill in gaps in wknd schedule - Call: Must be within 30 minutes of hospital; driven by census and call would always be a shift originally scheduled and got put on call - Holidays: Work in to the holiday schedule - Scrub Color: Navy - Tele: Phillips - Vents: Yes Draeger Vents - per RT - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: 24 hr intensivist (on call at night) - IV Team: IV team during the day - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Shifts: depending on census/staffing mismatch nurse could be on call (30 minute response time) 8s & 12s (mostly 12s) Floating: float to tele 4 to 1 - Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts in ICU then on own 3rd shift - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Adults & Peds - MedSurg, Neuro, Balloon pumps (perm staff does, if have experience will do class & bedside check-off), cranies, occasional ICP, CABG, some trauma that aren't transferred out, psych - OD, peds minor/DKA, TPA, hypothermia, ECMO, Impalla, CRRT - PrismaFlex (perm staff does, if have experience will do class & bedside check-off), TAVR, & EVAR, may start doing carotid stenting, ECOS, IABP (not required to be able to do--would have to get checked off) - Additional Notes: Must have 2 years of ICU experience
