Clinical Genomic Scientist II

To support a remote team, the full-time Clinical Genomic Scientist II will interpret diagnostic test results, review relevant medical literature, and assist in variant classification while ensuring compliance with report generation protocols. Key responsibilities Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results and classify genetic variants according to established protocols Draft clear and accurate clinical testing reports and provide input on reporting protocols during training sessions Collaborate with team members to suggest process improvements and assist in the training of new Clinical Genomic Scientists Required qualifications Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field, or MS in Genetic Counseling or similar scientific discipline Minimum of 2 years of experience in genetics literature review, variant classification, or clinical report drafting Strong knowledge of human genetics and diagnostic genetic testing methodologies, including next-generation sequencing Ability to evaluate genetic data and communicate findings effectively Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement Virtual Vocations Inc
