School Physical Therapist (PT) 

Location: St. Louis, MO 63110
Job Type: Contract / Part-Time
Duration: ASAP – June 30, 2027
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Active and unencumbered Missouri PT license

• Pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred

• IEP experience strongly preferred

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting

• Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services based on student IEP goals

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of motor skills and functional mobility

• Monitor student progress and maintain clinical documentation

• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, SLPs, and school staff

• Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings

• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and mobility modifications

• Support students in improving mobility, accessibility, and functional independence
