Housekeeping House AttendantThe Housekeeping House Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel and assisting with the removal of linen on guest floors and in guest rooms for laundry. Responsibilities might include deep cleaning of assigned areas, stocking guest room floors, assisting with trash and laundry removal of guest rooms and on guest floors, maintaining a clean public environment, and delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk.Job Duties & FunctionsComply at all times with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Clean/Buff floors according to hotel standards.Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards.Shampoo furniture as needed according to hotel standards.Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms, guest room floors, and public space.Maintain stocked linen closets on guest room floors.Handle all requests for luggage assistance at check in/our in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow associates and self.Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to Avion Hospitality standards.At the end of the shift, turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office.Complete daily assignment check list and submit to supervisor at the end of the day.Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Education & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, additional details will be specified by the supervisor.
