The team’s advisors leverage their commercial skill, operational knowledge, and industry network to support the enterprise fuels value chain network while growing the business through identification of key strategic investments. The Senior Asset & Performance Analyst partners with advisors to support development and execution of all business opportunities led by Crude Gathering through their diverse set of skills further highlighted in the Key Responsibilities:This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.Key Responsibilities:* Provides analytical, forecasting, and economic support to inform strategic decision-making and project development. Works closely with various internal stakeholders on building financial modeling, investment analysis, and performance evaluations. * Develops and maintains economic models for projects and commercial opportunities. Performs or assists in project lookback evaluations and post expenditure reviews. Identifies opportunities to leverage modeling to support strategic decisions.* Partners with field operations teams to support continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshoot issues by leveraging data, and improve business performance through data analysis and sharing.* Works cross-functionally in managing volume, revenue and capital forecast while maintaining production/volume and throughput forecasts for MPLX systems.* Completes customer, competitor, and industry benchmarking analyses to inform strategic and cost management decisions.* Builds and maintains analytical dashboards and reporting tools.
