You'll lead the business development team to set relationships, deliver winning proposals, and work to ensure our team is delivering on our business development goals. If you think in terms of strategic growth positioning and portfolio expansion as much as closed deals, this role is built for you.This position reports to the CEO and supervises members of the BD team.What You'll OwnGrowth Strategy: Define and drive Pearl's business development strategy across markets (e.g., federal (primary), state, commercial), identifying where we should compete and why we'll win.Business Development Leadership: Lead the business development team including: opportunity identification, qualification, bid strategy, proposal activities, and contract award.Client Partnership: Bring and build trusted, executive-level relationships with federal agency stakeholders and commercial clients, translating their evolving needs into tailored Pearl solutions.Revenue & Account Growth: Retain and expand existing accounts while building a healthy pipeline of new business that supports PIN's long-term growth targets.Cross-Functional Direction: Align sales, operations, and delivery teams around a shared growth plan, directing specialized resources to execute it.Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of shifts in the federal procurement landscape and competitive environment, adjusting strategy accordingly.Why PearlSalary Range: $120,000 – $195,000 annually, plus substantial On Target Earnings (OTE) potential (final range dependent on experience and location)Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) eligibilityProfessional development and coaching support for your career, wellbeing, and financial goalsRemote-first culture, 8am–5pm EST, Monday–FridayWhat You Bring10 -15 years in Business Development with a proven record of winning federal (primary) and commercial business and ownership of a federal growth portfolioDeep fluency in the federal contracting landscape: procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and the full end-to-end opportunity lifecycleDemonstrated record of building and converting a qualified federal pipeline and leading successful pursuits of comparable size, complexity, and strategic importance to PearlExisting relationships and a track record of building senior-level trust across primarily federal agencies and commercial organizationsStrong leadership instincts: you can build, motivate, and direct a high-performing team while carrying your own strategic prioritiesA leader-doer mentality that enables you to speak at both the executive/client level and execute, as needed, to drive business development excellence.A strong work ethic that drives high performance, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of driving growth and success for Pearl.Hands-on experience with GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and similar capture/research toolsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus)Ability to travel to meet clients (e.g., DC/MD/VA), to industry events, and leadership meetings.Subject to background investigation, security/EQIP clearance, drug screening, and skills assessment as applicable.Pearl Interactive Network, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
