Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive employment law advice and support across various HR-related areas, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Duties Provide employment law advice on state and federal matters. Prepare and review employment-related documents. Support clients in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and compliance. Execute all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial. Monitor legislation and provide strategic advice. Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Organize and monitor client files effectively. Requirements Minimum 2+ years of experience in employment law. Experience in client/employer advice and counseling preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in resolving issues and meeting deadlines. Effective time and resource management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Tennessee. Skills Strong advocacy and client interaction skills. Ability to balance conflicting priorities. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
