Job description:

The Berwyn Public Health District is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner to support inspections, investigations, and environmental health compliance efforts. This position involves both fieldwork and office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct inspections of food establishments and other facilities to ensure compliance with health regulations
-Review plans, applications, and equipment specifications for regulatory compliance
-Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
-Investigate complaints related to foodborne illness, sanitation, and environmental concerns
-Perform field surveys related to sanitation, infestations, and public health risks
-Provide education and guidance to residents, businesses, and community partners
-Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities
-Travel to various inspection sites as needed
-Perform other related duties as assigned
