Organization and Mission The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States. Position Summary Attorney Supervisor – Assistant Attorney General within the Office of the Attorney General, Civil Legal Services – Child Support Enforcement. Qualifications Admission to the Florida Bar. Six years of professional experience in the practice of law, legal research, teaching law, or administrative/judicial hearings; at least two years in a supervisory or managerial position. Responsibilities Manage, direct, and coordinate the operation, planning, development, and evaluation of the office. Implement and enforce agency, division, and DOR-CSE policies and procedures. Supervise personnel actions, including hiring, discipline, performance reviews, and workload distribution. Monitor workflow to ensure performance accountability measures and legal deadlines are met. Maintain the case tracking system for all assigned cases. Advise the Bureau Chief on issues affecting the office and provide recommendations. Propose procedural improvements and act on behalf of the Bureau Chief as directed. Maintain regular contact with internal and external partners such as judges, bailiffs, and court clerks. Attend trial litigation, mediations, and other court appearances as needed. Act as lead trial attorney on complex or high‑profile cases. Review and sign documents filed with the court, ensuring legal sufficiency. Conduct complex legal research and interpret relevant statutes and regulations. Provide legal advice and information to clients. Provide hands‑on training to new attorney hires and offer direction to staff. Observe court and office processes to monitor compliance. Perform related work as directed by the Bureau Chief. Pay $107,161.34 annually. Benefits Annual and sick leave. Nine paid holidays and one personal holiday each year.
