Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 annually plus bonus opportunities The HR Manager, reporting to the COO/CFO, will serve as the sole HR professional across a rapidly growing 100+ person, multi-site organization. This is a high-ownership role covering the full HR lifecycle - from recruiting and onboarding through offboarding, benefits, compliance, safety, training, and everything in between. The HR Manager will partner closely with leadership to build and maintain a strong, engaged workforce while ensuring the company remains compliant, well-organized, and positioned to grow. Job Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruiting process including job postings, phone screens, offer letters, and candidate communications from first contact through acceptance. Lead onboarding for all new hires, including orientation, system access setup, new hire documentation, and coordination with supervisors across all locations. Manage offboarding processes including separation documentation, final pay coordination, benefits termination, and system access removal. Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, HSA, and 401(k); serve as the primary point of contact for employees and carriers; manage open enrollment campaigns. Write, maintain, and communicate company-wide HR policies and procedures; ensure the employee handbook remains current and compliant. Maintain accurate and organized employee records and HR documentation in compliance with applicable regulations. Coordinate and track employee training programs, including mandatory safety training, onboarding curricula, and any required certifications. Manage workplace safety, including OSHA compliance, incident reporting, and injury recordkeeping. Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters; conduct or support workplace investigations involving conduct, performance, or policy violations. Support managers in addressing performance issues, writing performance improvement plans, and documenting disciplinary actions. Coordinate workers’ compensation claims, including reporting, follow-up, and return-to-work coordination. Manage leave of absence requests including FMLA, personal leave, and medical leave, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state requirements. Partner with leadership on organizational changes, role redesigns, promotions, and workforce planning. Oversee the Employee of the Month and other recognition programs to support employee engagement. Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws including EEO, FLSA, ADA. Maintain and update organizational charts and role documentation as the company evolves. Support payroll processing in coordination with the finance team; serve as a resource on payroll-related employee questions (payroll processing experience a plus, not required). Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a generalist or standalone HR role. Demonstrated experience across recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. Knowledge of federal employment law and multi-state compliance requirements. Experience supporting safety programs and OSHA compliance in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Strong written communication skills – policies, letters, and employee-facing communications are a regular part of this role. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with a high degree of ownership. Paycor HRIS/payroll platform experience strongly preferred. Payroll processing experience a plus. Workplace investigation experience preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
