As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Authorization in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain an orderly environment for travelers, employees, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry points and verify credentials, identification, visitor authorization, and/or access permissions in accordance with transportation facility requirements.
• Control access to restricted areas, issue and collect visitor credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, terminal areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
