Automotive Shop Foreman/Dispatcher
Join Kia Country of Charleston as an Automotive Shop Foreman/Dispatcher and lead our service team to deliver exceptional automotive repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate repair schedules, and ensure quality workmanship while providing outstanding customer service. This position is based in Charleston, SC, and offers a competitive salary with bi-weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor automotive technicians to maintain high-quality service standards.
- Dispatch and schedule repair jobs efficiently to meet customer needs and optimize shop workflow.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work to ensure compliance with Kia standards.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, technicians, and management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, parts, and service orders.
- Ensure shop safety and cleanliness in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or shop foreman/dispatcher in an automotive service environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage daily shop activities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with staff and customers.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
