MRI Technologist
Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for an MRI Technologist for their East Grand Rapids, MI location. Responsibilities include:
- Providing health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
- Performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
- Providing appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
- Role modeling comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acting as a resource to other MRI staff in managing complex issues.
- Assurance that equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assisting in and facilitating employee development.
Requirements include:
- Required certifications: MR from ARRT, BLS
