Qualifications & Experience

• Active CCC-SLP certification required
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance with state and federal education regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Dedication to working onsite and engaging with a young student population

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy in alignment with IEPs
• Assess, identify, and document students’ speech and language needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans and intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate progress records and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide guidance to teachers and families on supporting communication skills at home and in the classroom
• Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth

Assignment Details

• August 19th through the end of October (12 weeks)
• 32.5 hours per week
• In-person role at an early childhood center servicing young learners
• Manage a focused caseload during a maternity leave coverage period
