Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2448.00/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions such as Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin, as ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Circulate during C-sections if required, ensuring sterile techniques and supporting surgical staff.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies, including fetal distress and postpartum bleeding.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Float to MedSurg or ER when experienced and appropriate to support hospital needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with recent Labor & Delivery experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in C-section circluation and neonatal resuscitation.
  
  
• 
  Possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate FHM.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current knowledge of obstetric protocols, including high-risk pregnancy management.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in holiday rotations.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
