Assembly Technician – West Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $21 - $23/hr (based on experience)

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll assemble high-precision industrial couplings for demanding motion control and power transmission applications. You will perform assembly operations accurately, efficiently, and consistently to meet stringent product standards.
Main Activities:

• Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to assemble coupling products.
• Install fasteners, inserts, and components using hand and power tools.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks with hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
• Apply labels to products neatly and consistently.
• Use bonding equipment for assembling bellows style couplings.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, plug gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Promptly identify and report quality issues or suggest process improvements.

Additional Desired Skills/Qualities:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; follow 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Assist with handling heavy or bulky items, using proper safety techniques to prevent injury.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
