Position Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our geriatric patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. This is a full‑time position with a competitive hourly rate of $45-48/hour, as well as relocation assistance and sign‑on incentives for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Assist in the evaluation and treatment of geriatric patients with physical impairments or disabilities Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Educate patients and their families about the benefits of physical therapy and how to continue exercises at home Document patient progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment for patients Stay current with new techniques and advancements in physical therapy Requirements Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
