About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience required. License: Vermont RN License or Compact. Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Charge experience is required. - Experience with insulin drips, esmolol drips, and sodium drips. - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is strongly required. - Ability to float to any inpatient unit within the scope of practice. - A minimum of 3 months previous travel experience is required. Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit. Travelers will occasionally be asked to provide PCU care at a 3:1 ratio. This care requirement is non-negotiable and may not be refused. Charge experience is required for this position. Requests for time off during the course of this assignment must be verified at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Providers must have their own vehicle for this need. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after an offer may lead to rescinded offers. A signed supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment is required. All travelers uploaded must have voicemail set up on their phones.
