SpartanNash - 3175 25th Street So. - Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day department operations in a retail store and ensure staff training and staffing levels meet company standards.; Order and maintain department inventory to ensure product freshness and quality; review received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, and storage accordingly.; Manage a team responsible for stocking, production, and related tasks to ensure quality, planning, accuracy, and proper rotation; handle spoiled/damaged products per guidelines.; Attend daily huddles and meetings; communicate and execute flight plans, scheduling, and labor-related processes; manage payroll expenses for the department.; Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts; oversee staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates.
