Temporary Lab Technician

Position Information Posting Number: PG196079TM Position Number: 11ASO3723 Position Type: Temporary Posting Open Date: 06/29/2026 Responsibilities Assist research scientists with ongoing field projects on local and state water bodies. Daily travel and field work in all weather conditions. Support general laboratory-based activities. Maintain field equipment, calibrate sensors, and keep detailed logs. Other laboratory and field duties as directed by supervisor. Work Schedule 10-15 hours per week between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, with flexibility as needed. Compensation $15 per hour Requirements Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties. Proficiency in data collection. Experience with equipment calibration using water quality sondes, light meters, and current meters. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
