The Chesapeake Research Operation focuses on research & development (R&D) and building custom software applications. Software development at this location primarily focuses on drone control applications, though other development opportunities are also available. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesBrainstorm, conceptualize, design and prototype new systems and software architecturesResearch new technologies and software libraries that may be applicable to our product roadmap and visionSupport proposal developmentAnalyze and implement solutions for technical design challengesValidate software and system performance through experimentation and refactorMinimum Qualifications of Embedded Systems Software Engineer Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.
